survivEscape
SurvivEscape is a game idea based on a hiking-related, near-death experience had by its creator, Lýz Lissade. With help most notably from environmental artist Ian Henderson (aka IansaneArtist), character designer Ted Rainbow, and musician Percy (aka Shiek Nao), a prototype came to partial fruition using Media Molecule’s game/game engine: Dreams.
Despite (or perhaps due to) high expectations for this project, the scope of it grew too large to achieve in any reasonable time frame, especially for such a small team. The progress made, however, serves as an ongoing reference for what may someday become a fully-realized game beyond the Dreams platform.
This page currently archives some of the progress made, and will be a future site for the progress to ever come again. In the meantime, Lýz is sharpening her skills in the Godot Game Engine, and working up to the capacity needed for a return to this project. It is her dream game, after all; forever fraught with the seemingly unachievable enormity that comes with such an ambitious prospect.
